The Channel Sales & Marketing is responsible for handling all automotive aftermarket (spare parts) sales and marketing activities for the company.

Description

Channel Management
1. Working closely with assigned sales channel for the following
- Responsible for all marketing activities for customers to increase Automotive Aftermarket share of business via additional core business field portfolios and increase the level of product penetration of company's products, as well as to improve profit
- Definition and tracking of customer performance criteria to support sales pitches & discussions
- Development and maintenance of a consistent pricing and condition structure and alignment with other channel marketers to avoid channel conflicts. Alignment of price and conditions with product pecialis to support the expected business unit gross margins.
2. Brand Management: Positioning the company's brand within the targeted segment, define, plan and execute brand supporting activities for a particular channel
3. Event Management: Assist the sales team with company's involvement within all channel related conferences, sponsorships and events
4. Competitor Analysis: Create and maintain full transparency over relevant competitor activities in the particular channel with regards to portfolio, coverage, pricing, POS activities and develop counteractivities
 
5. Coordination of sales promotions and campaigns with relevant Product Specialist and Key Account Managers
 
- Devising and implementing all promotions and campaigns, including the creation of the annual product marketing plan
 
- Establishing the resource requirements for all promotions and campaigns
 
- Communicating all promotions and campaigns with relevant key local sales & marketing teams
 
- Monitor the performance of all promotions and campaigns
 
Product Champion
1. Drive and develop business activities for related Automotive Aftermarket product group in the country through various growth projects and channel/distribution strategy
2. Define product positioning/pricing strategy for optimized business growth
3. Consolidate and provide market intelligence on related company's product
4. Coordinate new product launch package delivery
5. product specific sales planning & forecasting
6. Monitor country's inventory & support inventory measures
7. Consolidation & facilitation of internal knowledge transfer through creation of materials defining product specs, range, USP, benchmarking results, product positioning, applications, handling
 
Profile
 
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
 
- Having around 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferably in Automotive / FMCG company
 
- Having in-depth understanding about automototive products, costing, pricing & IT business systems
 
- Strong analytical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset is a must
 
- High learning agility with self motivated approach
 
- Advanced Excel skills
 
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia
 
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams
